**Job Purpose**:
EnerSys is looking for **Electronics Co-Op **to join the Engineering team in our Burnaby head office.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Test Power Electronics products
- Perform Engineering electrical and mechanical prototype assemblies
- Execute test plans, document and analyze results
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation
- Familiarity with basic op-amp circuits, transistor circuits, etc.
- Familiarity with PCB CAD package like Altium would be an asset
- Create design calculations and develop detailed design verification plans
- Propose and implement design changes to the product based on testing
- Work with the hardware, system and firmware teams to develop solutions

**Qualifications**:

- Excellent organizational, interpersonal communication and written skills, strong quantitative and computer skills.
- Creating test plans, executing testing and documenting results
- Ability to collaborate with team and stakeholders to derive options and solutions to problems
- Excellent analysis, problem solving, design and troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with a variety of test equipment, including oscilloscopes, DMMs, spectrum analyzers, environmental chambers, etc
- Experience soldering SMT and through-hole components
- Any experience with analog circuits, micro-processor-based circuits, switch-mode power supplies
