The Production Planner is responsible to schedule production in a way that satisfies customer demand; balances timeliness of demand with production capacity, line efficiency; and keeps inventory investment and loss at a minimum.

**What’s involved in this role**
- Coordination with S&OP for forecasting and production planning.
- Proactively addressing planning, scheduling, and production issues.
- Analyzing timeline for production and scheduling/adjusting accordingly.
- Responsible for scheduling products in agreement with allergen management.
- Working in collaboration with procurement team to ensure timely materials management.
- Maintain KPIs.
- Analyze inventory limiting liabilities and reporting to key customers to proactively limit liabilities.
- Works with Sales and Marketing teams during new product launches, transitions and special projects to coordinate the production accordingly to accommodate the requests.
- Other project/duties as assigned or needed.

**What you need to join our team**
- Bachelor’s Degree and or College diploma in Operations, Business, or comparable work experience required.
- Familiar with HACCP and/or SQF considered an asset.
- 3-5 years’ experience in Production Planning or Operations, experience in the food industry, an asset.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Experience with ERP systems.
