Youth Stars Foundation is a non-profit organization based in Montreal, Quebec, dedicated to empowering youth from diverse backgrounds. We aim to create a safe and inclusive environment where young individuals can express themselves, develop their skills, and build confidence. Our programs focus on healthy living, mental well-being, creativity, and inclusivity fostering a community where every child can thrive.

Youth Stars Foundation is seeking an energetic and patient Program Facilitator for our new Podcast Program. This role involves working with youth (aged 9-12) to facilitate a fun and educational podcast program, where participants will learn how to record, edit and produce their own podcasts. You will guide them through the process of content creation, help them operate podcast equipment, and provide hands-on support with microphone setup and recording.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Set up podcast equipment, including microphones, sound mixers, and recording software (Rode Caster Pro II)
- Teach and guide participants through the process of creating a podcast (planning, recording and editing)
- Ensure a fun, engaging, and safe environment for all participants
- Encourage creativity and participation from all youth, helping them express themselves through podcasting
- Work closely with the Youth Stars Foundatiom team to plan and deliver program content
- Monitor and maintain podcast equipment, ensuring proper usage and sfatey

**Qualifications**
- Expereince with podcast production, including recording and editing software
- Ability to set up and operate podcast equipment
- Previous experience working with children or a passion for working with kids is preferred
- Strong communication skills, with an enthusiastic and patient personality
- Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to the scheduled program hours (1 PM to 3 PM)

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 10 weeks

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
