**Responsibilities**:

- Estimate costs of projects and materials, prepare bids, and monitor projects.
- Actively pursue new contract opportunities
- Be knowledgeable about building codes and construction regulations.
- Be familiar with building materials, trade practices, safety precautions, and tools and equipment used by workers in construction industry.
- Be familiar with estimating techniques, bidding procedures, administration of contracts, testing procedures, project schedules and change orders.
- Prepare and submit estimates for construction projects, including material and labour costs and project timelines
- Work with project manager to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Manage and maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders and progress reports and job cost tracking
- Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, subtrades, and employees both verbally and in writing.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelors degree in Business Administration or related field
- 3+ years experience in office management/construction estimating
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods and techniques
- Excellent organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Project management software experience an asset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independantly and as a team
- Ability to take and give direction
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills

**Salary**: $62,400.00-$83,000.00 per year
