**Summer Position - Marketing Assistant (Barrie/Angus)**

This opportunity is open to Individuals who are:

- **Aged 15 - 30 years**:

- **Eligible to work in Ontario and able to commit to the contract full duration**

**Position Summary**

The summer marketing assistant will be assisting as part of Camphill Community Development Team, reporting to the the Community Development Officer will provide support to the Team as needed for CCO community engagements as related to development of media contents in diverse formats including print and online publications for CCO website and social media platforms. The Assistant will also support our garden activities and attend farm market for the garden products merchandise, providing support with customer service, inventory management, processing sales and providing information on Camphill and the products.

This position works alongside individuals with developmental disabilities.

**Requirements**:

- Experience in editing, re-writing and adapting material produced by others will be an advantage
- Experience in developing on-line materials and in modifying existing material to an on-line format, and some skills in the development and strategic use of various social media channels will be asset
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite; and experience in using design/graphics software is an asset.

- Possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills;

- Is dependable and reliable
- Able to work with a positive attitude in a retail/customer-oriented environment
- Previous experience and/or education in retail management would be an asset but is not required
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and work with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Current Criminal Reference Check with Vulnerable Sector Screen within the last 6 months
- Driving license and access to a vehicle is an advantage

Working Hours: 35 hours per week

Contract Duration: 8 weeks (June 26 to August 25, 2023)

**Salary**: $17 per hour, plus 6% vacation pay
