Allied Universal is seeking** Professional Security Guards** in Nova Scotia**.**

**Title**:Security Guard**

**Location: Eastern Passage, NS**

**Payrate**:$15.20 per hour.**

**Schedule: we are hiring for five open positions as per below-**

Monday to Friday 0800-1600 (full Drivers license required)Monday to Friday 1500-2300 (full Drivers license required)Monday to Friday 1500-2300 (full Drivers license required)

Saturday & Sunday 0700-1900 (part time, Drivers License not required)Saturday 1900-0700 (part time, Drivers License not required)

**Overview**:
**Requirement**:

- Six months of experience in a guard role in security.
- Valid drivers license required.
- Open shift availability.
- Ability to operate technology and wireless communication systems at client-specific sites.
- Must have a valid Ontario Security License.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada up to **40** hours a week.
- First Aid and CPR
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience
- Physically capable of standing or walking for long periods, climbing stairs, and occasionally lifting or carrying up to 20 kilograms.

**Responsibilities**:

- Efficient with computers, ensuring effective patrolling and site security.
- Responds to Emergency Situations such as fires, Chemical Spills, Medical Emergencies, Phone Threats, answers alarms and investigate disturbances.
- Monitors and authorizes entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security/safety of premises.
- Completes monthly, weekly, and daily tasks assigned.
- Communicate with stakeholders, including site management, in a professional manner.
- Address and manage security incidents and emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
- Perform regular patrols and site checks to maintain security standards.
