Garage Door Technician

Are you a skilled garage door technician with at least two years of experience in the industry? We're actively seeking individuals like you to join our team on a full-time basis. This position involves installing and servicing both commercial and residential doors, garage door openers, and related accessories. Experience in rolling steel, sliding aluminum doors, underground parking gates, and high-speed doors would be an asset but not mandatory.

Compensation: $25 - $35 per hour based on experience

**Responsibilities**:
Install and service various garage doors and door openers according to manufacturer instructions.
Remove and dispose of old garage doors safely and responsibly.
Engage with customers professionally, providing advice and recommendations on service and replacement products.
Actively sell garage doors and related products to customers, utilizing product knowledge and effective communication skills.
Collaborate with customers to identify their needs and provide suitable recommendations for garage door options.
Conduct on-site measurements and assessments for accurate ordering and installation.
Provide transparent pricing information to customers.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
Uphold high standards of integrity and professionalism.
Enhance troubleshooting skills to resolve issues effectively.
Actively participate in training programs.
Adapt to various work settings while providing exceptional service.
Seek support and guidance from the leadership team.
Adhere to safety guidelines.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in the garage door industry.
Excellent customer service skills.
Detail-oriented and mechanically inclined.
Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Comfortable with heights.
Valid G Driver’s License.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 44 per week
