**Information Technology **(IT) / Communications Administrator
**AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY**:
The IT / Communications Administrator will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining TBIFC’s computer infrastructure, that includes maintaining networks, servers and security programs and systems including surveillance cameras, in collaboration with third party IT providers and vendors. This position will oversee the upgrade and installation of new hardware and software and provide technical support to employees, as well as administer TBIFC social media and web-based accounts as part of communications initiatives. This position requires the ability to adapt to new technology, to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical members of the organization, and to handle private information with tact and discretion.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Preferred diploma or degree in computer science, computer systems engineering, software engineering, web design, or a relevant IT field of study, or minimum three (3) years combined related experience. Certifications or licences appropriate to industry will be considered an asset.
- Knowledge and/or experience working in a non-profit charitable organization.
- Strong knowledge of browser compatibility problems for all platforms and major browser types.
- Strong knowledge on maintaining networks, servers and security programs and systems.
- Familiarity with various programming languages and development platforms.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting PC, peripherals and software upgrades and IT Administration.
- Understanding of IT and social media / web-based management; ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical members of the organization.
- Excellent analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills.
- Demonstrate high level of integrity and work ethic.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality concerning financial and employee information.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and writing / editing skills; excellent file management skills.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, problem solve and take initiative.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders and work effectively with all levels of employees.
- Self-motivated with ability to work with mínimal supervision in a team-oriented setting.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and/or weekends.
- A clear criminal reference check (CPIC) is a condition of the employment offer.
- Must have reliable transportation. A valid Ontario driver’s license is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of Indigenous culture and language is considered an asset.

**Deadline Date: Friday, March 22, 2024**

**Salary: $67,473.00/ annum**
