Kennel Attendant

Responsibilities:

- Provide excellent customer service to pet owners and visitors
- Assist with the daily care and maintenance of the kennel facility
- Feed, water, and medicate animals according to their individual needs
- Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and common areas
- Monitor the health and well-being of the animals and report any concerns to the technitians or the manager
- Administer medications or treatments as directed by the veterinarian or supervisor
- Assist with grooming tasks such as bathing and brushing
- Maintain accurate records of animal care and behavior

**Experience**:

- Previous experience working with animals is preferred but not required
- Ability to handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately
- Knowledge of basic animal care practices and procedures
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with pet owners in a professional manner

Note: This position may require heavy lifting at times, as well as standing or walking for extended periods.

**Salary**: From $16.00 per hour

- Mississauga, ON L5L 1J9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
