We are currently looking for Gymnastics Instructors to join our team of committed professionals. These part-time positions within the Association are housed at the YMCA of Northeastern Ontario’s Durham location in Sudbury.

**START DATE**: As soon as possible

**LOCATION**: Sudbury

**RATE OF PAY**: $15.50 - $17.00 per hour

**HOURS**: 5-15 hours per week

Major Responsibilities
- Program, plan, and implement activities
- Supervise, engage and participate with the program participants in group activities
- Communicate with all staff and request more when needed
- Ensure safety of all participants, property, staff and volunteers by established practices and procedures
- Maintain the inventory of required supplies
- Communicate with parents/guardians on a daily basis
- Tracking daily attendance
- Attend staff training programs and meetings
- Incorporate SAM Standards into daily responsibilities
- Build relationships with members and guests, and promote the YMCA as a charitable organization

**Qualifications**:

- Possession of an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) preferred
- Level one Coaching, level two coaching,
- Experience as a gymnast
- Experience working/leading group activities with children (i.e. babysitting)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Current Standard First Aid and CPR C
- Current and satisfactory Police Record with Vulnerable Sector Check
