**This job description illustrates the job scope, general nature/level of work performed by employee within this job. General expectations of this position are as follows**:

- Dedicated to quality and satisfaction of our customers and performing duties in accordance with relevant Food Safety & Quality regulations, regulatory certification schemes, and Workplace Health & Safety policies.
- Each Team Member is responsible to report any food safety and/or quality problems to personnel with the authority to initiate corrective actions.
- Comply with basic systems and procedures set forth by Above Food Brands.
- Participate in relevant training requirements as directed by Management.
- Ensure the food safety, quality, and legality of all products produced at the AFB Ingredient Center.

**Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Participate in the implementation of relevant policies/procedures to consistently meet the certification schemes requirements.
- Participate in adhering to GMPs, all relevant food safety and quality programs.
- Responsible for the safe operation of forklifts and shipping equipment and performing activities safely to meet receiving/shipping targets and deadlines.
- Responsible for the safe equipment operation such as forklifts and various grain processing equipment.
- Responsible for executing receiving and shipping protocols and documenting activities and inspection accurately on relevant records.
- Complete shipping and receiving documentation thoroughly and in a timely manner.
- Unload, put away, and organize incoming materials (grain inputs, supplies, packaging, etc.).
- Unload bulk grain into storage bins using transfer auger.
- Communicate with Logistics, Inventory, and Warehouse staff to ensure all shipments are

completed on time.
- Pick orders accurately and prepare them for shipping/delivery.
- Perform all relevant product inspection, documents verification checks to ensure consistency of physical product labels against shipping documents.
- Affix proper shipping labels to pallets and pallets organization & staging for efficient loading.
- Establish and maintain warehouse organization system.
- Perform housekeeping and sanitation activities at set intervals.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Production Manager.

**Requirement and Skills**:
Excellent organization and time management skills

Ability to multi-task well in a fast-changing environment

Capable of lifting weights of up to 50 Lbs

Holds a valid Forklift Operator certificate.

Previous shipping/receiving experience.

Can work in a Dusty and Noisy environment.

Render Overtime when required.

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
