**General Responsibilities**:

- Start at 6:00 AM (8-10 hour shift)
- Responsible for unloading freight from incoming trailers. Stage orders on dock to meet shipping deadlines.
- Count and sort product, record any shortages, damages, overages on the pick-up/linehaul manifest, and report any discrepancy to the Terminal Manager.
- Plan the outgoing merchandise according to the cubing and weight distribution.
- Coordinate and prioritize terminal activities, dock operations with city and switch drivers
- Load or assist in loading appropriate freight onto delivery trucks and trailers, ensure proper pallet placement and secure loads. Ensure the appropriate bills are with the skid.
- Re-planning and coordination of deliveries according to priorities given by the Terminal Manager.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 2 year experience as a forklift operator;
- Experience in a transportation company ( asset)
- Ability to work efficiently and quickly to meet the daily requirements of LTL Transportation
- Logical and analytical mind
- Computer skills, reporting and data entry
- Good understanding of mix freight loading and unloading with attention to safety procedures.
