Deli Department Manager

**Qualifications**:
- Minimum 2 years of progressive restaurant or food-retail management experience
- A history of meeting financial objectives and targets in a restaurant or food-retail environment
- Proven ability to lead a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- A passion for leading and developing others
- Effective critical thinking and conflict resolution skills
- Strong Google Suite skills and the ability to quickly learn new computer programs
- Comfortable working during peak food-retail hours (evenings, weekends and holidays)
- Knowledge of the principles of food preparation, and food safety regulations is required
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds

**Role and Responsibilities**:
- Inventory Management through weekly ordering, record & invoice maintenance, and leading quarterly inventory counts
- Schedule Deli (and Hospitality) Team Members to ensure that production and customer needs are met
- Ensure company standards are met and department programs are followed
- Assist the Store Manager with recruiting for and maintaining a high-performance work team
- Train, develop and motivate Deli (and Hospitality) Team Members
- Assist the Catering by Freson Bros. Team with in-store catering events and preparation
- Resolve customer and Deli department concerns and complaints, providing a positive customer experience
- Champion the Freson Bros. Brand and culture by modeling our qualities of Drive, Integrity, and Growth
**Position Details**:
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Location: Drumheller, Alberta
- Salary: $45,000- $60,000 per year
