Key Holder/sales Associate

Our hiring process is continuous, as we continue to optimize the alignment of our staff with our business mission. We are looking for both full time and part time positions.
This position is not a retail job, it’s a service job. Bolli Imports is an environment that demands personal growth. The fruit of which will be exemplified in how the customer ends up experiencing the store, as well as what the employee is able to take away for future endeavors. As such, this is a challenging position and we are very clear that this job is not for most people. Bolli Imports is an environment that encourages personal growth, and cares about you as a human, not just a number on a spreadsheet. Our business is based out of Calgary run by our Owner, Adrian, and Head of Operations, Brittany. We are a small team with about 10 of us on board making the show happen. We have our large store in Bower Mall, a booth in the Crossroads Farmers Market in Calgary, a small shop in our warehouse in Calgary, and an online presence.
Bolli Imports is a family. We interact with each other in an authentic, courteous, and professional manner. We are considerate, cooperative, and helpful to every staff member to assure quality services, and a positive, honest, and open work environment for all staff. We hold ourselves and each other accountable for our service commitment.
These are not required skills but the applicant must be willing, ready, and enthusiastic about learning and mastering these skills.
Here’s how the employee must contribute to the team:
**1. Service**:
- Customer service comes first. The customer is considered to be part of the team.
- Be open to practicing how to drop into your natural being. There is no script that we train you on, rather we guide you on how to interact with guests authentically and help you mitigate your discomfort. And be open to challenging yourself in this regard, always.
- Be present. Being present to the job, leaving outside influences such as texting, interpersonal dramas, and outside stresses at the door. Utilize the skills you learn as we will teach you how to do this. Ask for support rather than repressing or avoiding.
**How does this contribute to your long-term growth both in your personal life and future endeavors?**:
- You will learn how to interact with other humans authentically and genuinely.
- Confidence in interpersonal interactions and in approaching others.
- Listening skills and accountable communication.
- Learn how to emotionally regulate yourself during any time of the day.

**2.** **Task Responsibility**
When it's slow, we task and talk to the guests who come in. When it's busy, we interact with guests and task on the side. Tasking and customer service are separate realms that use different attitudes and mindsets.
The requirements for tasking are:
- Capacity to quickly shift been task mindset and customer service mindset needs to be trained if not already a skill available.
- Communication with Brittany and Adrian. Ask until you can skillfully do it. Do your tasks efficiently and understand the most efficient workflow.
- Display & merchandising as per the direction of Brittany & Adrian.
- Self-initiated restocking of products.
- Self-initiated communication of best-selling products and low-stock products.
- Problem-solving mindset. Willingness to develop a “can do and will find out” mindset vs. a “can’t do, I don’t know how” mindset.
- Sufficient math skills to complete cash-out responsibilities; counting money. With a willingness to improve if there is a deficiency.

- You will learn how to rationalize your actions and decisions and gain confidence in doing so.
**3. Tolerance and Curiosity to Complexity** **and Unpredictability**:
- The environment is ever unpredictable and ever-shifting.
