Including, but not limited tomalls, power centres, professional bldgs., grocery stores, liquor stores, hardware, and outlet centres.**

- **Current and valid Alberta security license (ABST)**:

- **Class 5 driving license (willing to provide driving abstract if necessary ie. mobile)**:

- **Level C - 1st Aid/CPR/AED current certification**:

- **Min. 3 - 5 years experience as a Tactical Guard**:

- **Must be fluent in English (level IV), read, write, speak**:

- **Impeccable deportment**:

- **Superior verbal de-escalation skills (NVCI definite asset)**:

- **Experience in retail settings or stores**:

- **Superior report writing & documentation skills**:

- **Strong computer and IT skills**:

- **Knowledge and ability to work with digital software**:

- **Ability to work and succeed without direct supervision**:

- **Strong knowledge of and comfortable with Powers of Arrest**:

- **Use of Force training (CTSS, PPCT)**:

- **Strong record of working with safety procedures & OH&S policies (COR certification)**:

- **Ability to respond to and handle various Alarm Responses - Call Outs - Removals**:

- **Be willing to travel to retail sites in greater Edmonton area, and within 1 hour drive**

Additional assets include:

- AGLC Certifications - ProTech - ProServe - SellSafe - QCW (Qualified Cannabis Worker)
- Knowledge of and familiar with the SSIA (Security Services & Investigations Act)
- Experience and knowledge of Loss Prevention & Asset Protection
- Comfortable and experience with approaching/apprehending abusive & aggressive persons
- Strong communication skills,spoken, written and reading.
- Superior customer service skills for clients, vendors and public
- Strong willingness to constantly attend training courses and improve skills
- Ability to attend operations and client meetings
- Liaison and work with various law enforcement agencies

Physical abilities include, but not limited to:

- Willing to stand and/or patrol for long periods of time
- Comfortable and able to lift 40 lbs safely
- Occasional reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling.
- Handling of stairs & stairwells, inclines, uneven ground
- Watch & monitor computer - camera - video screens for periods of time
- Ability and flexible to work days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and night shifts.
- Ability to travel outside city limits

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
