**ABOUT THE ROLE**

Anderson College is currently seeking an experienced professional Instructor to teach in our Paralegal Program. Currently, we have openings for the following courses:

- Introduction to the Legal System
- Torts and Contracts
- Employment Law
- Small Claims Court
- Alternative Dispute Resolution
- Criminal Law
- Immigration Law
- Legal Accounting (preferably uLaw Practice software)

Instructors must have an appropriate combination of education, occupational experience and teaching experience, including:

- fluency in English,
- experience teaching and leading interactive lectures and discussions,
- excellent verbal and written communication skills, and
- being a confident, engaging, enthusiastic, and dynamic presenter

Additionally, the successful applicant must meet the following specific criteria, as a minimum:

- be an LSO licensee (Lawyer or Paralegal) in Good Standing;
- must have at least two years of teaching experience in a school setting - acting as an occasional lecturer, a presenter, a trainer, an articling principal or a Field Placement Supervisor is not considered teaching experience, or have formal training in education that has resulted in a degree, diploma or certificate.

**Shift Type**: Courses can be scheduled from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and/or from 6:00 to 10:00 PM

**Job Type**: Part-time
