Description

Job Summary:
You are an experienced Fuel & Lube Technician with experience to support us on projects in Western Canada. You take pride in maintenance of heavy equipment to ensure safety and efficiency. You will be an integral part of the Ledcor team working in Western Canada. These are projects with long term potential. For you, safety and quality are a priority, and you are proud of your work at the end of each day.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate fuel/lube trucks to safely service heavy equipment as required and directed
- Conduct pre-trip/walk-around safety inspections and completes daily Field Level Hazard Assessments for all activities
- Complete equipment inspections, report repairs required and assist in scheduling these repairs
- Complete maintenance records and documentation as required
- Communicate effectively and professionally with other team members
- Be a leader of both safety and production for the team by ensuring compliance with all company, client, and legislated safety policies and procedures

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 1+ year of experience as a Fuel & Lube Technician on heavy equipment
- Knowledge of parts and servicing of Caterpillar, John Deere & Komatsu equipment types
- Possess a valid form of government issued photo identification
- Demonstrated ability to work under mínimal supervision
- Must successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing
- Must possess valid CSTS and valid driver’s license

Work Conditions:

- Experienced applicants that reside in Western Canada will be given preference due to the location of this project
- 14 days on / 7 days off rotational shift
- Travel allowance and or flights provided from approved locations
- Work will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions
- Extended health benefits provided by CLAC
