At Kingsdale Animal Hospital, we take a team approach to patient and client care. From the receptionists to the veterinary assistants behind the scenes, we all help to deliver meticulous detail in the work we do and in the services we provide.
- Feeding/providing water to animals that are boarding as well as hospitalized patients.
- Changing cat litter, moving/handling animals from one area to the next, walking dogs.
- Janitorial duties such as cleaning and disinfecting of kennel area as well as entire facility. (Sweeping, mopping, dusting, wiping down walls, taking out garbage, dishes, laundry and any other tasks as assigned).
- Administering oral medications.
- Assisting RVTs (Registered Veterinary Technicians) with holding/restraining animals.
- Admitting and discharging boarding patients.

**Experience**:
Animal handling/experience is considered an asset.

**Qualifications**:
Reliable, responsible, trustworthy, dependable and able to work independently as well as with others.

Must be double vaccinated against Covid-19.

**Schedule**:
Approximately 10-15 hours per week consisting of 1-2 weekday evenings per week (3pm-6pm) & alternating weekends including holidays. Saturday shift is 8am-4pm. Sunday/Holiday shifts are 8am-10am & 2pm-4pm. These hours will vary depending on the number of boarding and hospitalized patients and will be shared between 2-3 staff members. Summer vacation coverage may also be required.
