Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations of patients' physical abilities, movement, and function
- Work with pre and post-op orthopaedic and spine patients on movement, conditioning and strengthening programs
- Work with athletes, as well as general population on injury rehabilitation for various musculoskeletal injuries
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on patients' needs and goals
- Implement therapeutic exercises and interventions to improve patients' strength, flexibility, and mobility
- Monitor and track patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Educate patients on proper body mechanics and techniques for injury prevention
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic medical records systems
**Skills**:
- Proficiency in computerized systems for clinical note taking
- Ability to work within a team-oriented dynamic
- Strong organizational skills to manage patient caseload and documentation
- Bilingual proficiency (English and French required)
- Excellent patient care skills, including active listening and empathy
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to kinesiology and rehabilitation
- Strong customer service skills to interact effectively with patients and their families
- Ability to work in a clinical setting
- Experience with manual therapy, joint mobilizations, therapeutic exercise, IASTM, ART, MFR, trigger point release, etc. not required, but considered an asset.
- Must have maintained status with the Canadian Kinisiologists Association
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $48,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
