We are looking for a dedicated Security Supervisor (Detention Center) to join our growing Garda World Team and play a crucial role in enhancing the skills and knowledge of our security personnel. You will be responsible for overseeing the care and containment of individuals held at the Immigration Holding Center. **Pay Rate: Starting at $26. 25**

**What to Expect as a Detention Center Security Supervisor**:

- Ensure the protection, custody, and control of medium to high-risk detained persons.
- Provide the guards with the proper assignments or posts.
- Utilizing methods authorized by CBSA for conducting searches of cells, detainees, and property.
- Communicate the shift briefing and procedures changes to the team.
- Provide support and initial/ongoing training to guards.
- Execute emergency evacuation protocols when necessary and make sure that the team understands them.
- Promptly notifying the CBSA both verbally and in written form following critical incidents or deficiencies.
- Conduct supervisor visits and audits of posts within the IHC.
- 1 to 3 years experience in personnel management in a unionized environment
- Applicants must be Permanent Residents or Canadian Citizens
- Valid BC Security Licence
- Standard First Aid (CPR and AED) is considered an asset.
- Advanced Security Training (AST) is considered an asset.
- Transport Security Clearance (TSC), RAIC, and Class 4 driver's license are considered an asset.
- Bilingual (French and English) an asset
