Salesperson Alberni Chrysler

Alberni Chrysler, Located in Port Alberni BC, is looking for a motivated, energetic, individual to join our sales team. Alberni Chrysler is part of the Alberni Auto Group, which includes Alberni Truck and Overland Accessories, Alberni Auto spa and Alberni Toyota.

Our next salesperson will be a great team player and effective at handling an existing client base as well as being able to generate new business.

New business will be generated via self-promotion on Instagram, Facebook, Marketplace and other social media platforms on a regular and consistent basis. The ability to Network by being connected to business clubs, industry and community involvement is also a desirable asset.

Being able to use a CRM for building, maintaining and increasing your sales volume will also be required daily. Being able to field, manage and convert our E business leads is also required.

A typical day may start with:

- Completing Marketplace ads for any new/used vehicles on the lot.
- Greeting clients as required and assisting as needed.
- Completing any required product knowledge courses as required
- Starting of new/used inventory and re arranging the lot as required.

Some of the duties:

- Satisfies the transportation needs of new and used-vehicle purchasers.
- Approaches, greets and helps any customer who enters the dealership showroom or sales lot.
- Assists customers in vehicle selection by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses and suggests alternative vehicles if necessary.
- Understands the terminology of the automobile business and keeps current on changes in product technology, incoming inventory, features, accessories etc.
- Provides thorough product information and demonstration to all clients.
- Offers test drives to all prospects. Follows dealership sales process to obtain proper identification from customer before test drive begins.
- Exhibits a high level of commitment to customer satisfaction and helping people.
- Utilizes dealership sales process and follow-up system.
- Knows and understands the acts and laws which govern retail auto sales in BC.
- Establishes personal income goals that are consistent with dealership standards of productivity and works with the Sales Manager to meet those goals.
- Knows and understands equity and values and can explain depreciation to the customer.
- Ensures that the sales manager has an opportunity to meet each customer.
- Turns 100 percent of closed deals to the finance and insurance manager and presents properly completed paperwork (i.e., insurance information, trade reg, drivers licences, etc.).
- Prepares sold vehicles for customer delivery (i.e., Makes sure vehicle is cleaned, Full tank and ensures all features are operational) prior to customer arrival.
- Delivers vehicles to customers, ensuring that the customer understands the vehicle's operating features, warranty and paperwork.
- Introduces customers to service department personnel to emphasize to them the quality and efficiency of service repairs and maintenance available in the dealership's service department.
- Schedules first service appointment.
- Follows up on all post-delivery items, tag/title work, “we-owes,” and special requests to be sure that all customer expectations are met.
- Maintains an owner follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to customer satisfaction.
- Maintains a prospect development and follow-up system.
- Attends sales meetings.
- Helps to keep the used-vehicle department neat and clean.
- Maintains a professional business appearance.
- Writes complete sales orders and processes paperwork in accordance with established dealership policies.
- Reviews and analyzes actions at the end of each day, week, month, and year with the Sales Manager to determine how to better utilize time and plans more effectively.
- Other tasks as assigned.
