**Required Skills**:
RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Overall leadership of all Finance & Accounting teams within IMAX Corporation including financial reporting with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, corporate & film accounting, AP/AR and inventory
- Oversight of day-to-day controllership finance functions
- Standardize and harmonize accounting processes across the business units
- The overall financial close process; monthly, quarterly & yearly
- Lead monthly financial discussions and reviews to ensure alignment of the financial results
- Monitor variances, summarize trends and investigates budget deficiencies.
- Report material budgeting variances or expenditure variances to Sr. Management.
- Collaborate with External Auditors
- Build an effective team by aligning the goals of the company with department and individual goals
- Provide the support and tools to retain and grow the team

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Professional accounting designation CPA combined with 12+ years of accounting and management experience
- A solid understanding of U.S. GAAP
- Experience within the ‘Big Four’ would be preferable
