**THE WORK**

Responsible for installing, repairing and maintaining closed loop PVC piping for swimming pool filtration systems, chemical controller and feeding systems. Installing equipment in either underground or above ground mechanical rooms using piping layout blue prints.
- Lay out, assemble, install, maintain and repair of piping, fixtures and other components for the supply or disposal of water for any aquatic facilities
- Read and understand design drawings, manufacturers’ literature, and installation diagrams for piping and pumps, able to complete a PVC piping and fittings take off from blue prints and to coincide with installed equipment
- Plan, prepare, install and maintain piping and plumbing systems composed of various materials
- Gather equipment and materials for the job
- Cut, thread and fit pipes
- Attach pipes and piping systems to walls using brackets, bracket systems, or clamps; cuts or bores holes prior to project
- Inspect pipes, test for pressure and leaks; report and/or resolves problems
- Comply with applicable codes and regulations, safety and best practices

**THE SKILLS & TRAINING**
- 2-3 years of related experience
- Detail oriented - Organized, Accurate, Multi-tasked
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Strong work ethic and highly motivated team player
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines and expedited requirements
- Excellent logical analysis, problem-solving and decision making skills
- Experience with swimming pool construction considered an asset
- Clean driver’s abstract
- Working at Heights

**Salary**: $28.63-$33.40 per hour
