**YOUR MISSION**

As part of the Finance team, the Controller will have a key strategic role reporting to the Senior Director on issues and risks related to the company's finances, budgets and cash flow.

**Primary responsibilities**:

- Prepare the monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements ensuring that the closing schedule is met and that all tasks in the closing process are completed
- Coordinate the performance of all monthly account analyses ensuring that they are aligned with our monthly, quarterly and annual reporting requirements
- Support the Senior Finance Manager in preparing the year-end file, coordinating audit execution with external auditors and producing external financial statements according to IFRS standards
- Participate in the development, maintenance, and optimization of financial management-related policies, procedures, and controls
- Participate in budgetary processes and monitoring, particularly by analyzing the budget variances of balance sheet items (projected vs. actual budget) on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis
- A BAC in Business Administration, Accounting Option, or a BAC in Accounting Sciences
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
- 2 to 3 years in an accounting firm and more than two years with a company
- Familiarity with IFRS standards is a prerequisite
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
Familiarity with Genius ERP is a plus
- Bilingual with fluency in both oral and written French and English
- Solution oriented and creative in problem solving
- Evidence of strong teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt and navigate through ambiguity
- Good communications skills, with the ability to simplify and adjust his or her communications accordingly
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
