We are a family business, founded in 2008 with a firm stance behind our motto ‘farm fresh, dirt cheap, delicious’ and a drive to brighten every customer’s day has resulted in our little market becoming a bustling community hub, now providing Vancouver Island’s largest selection of organic, local and conventional produce, a full service butcher and deli, a boutique florist and garden centre, artisanal grocery, dairy & breads, a bulk foods section and most recently a new coffee bar, bringing us to over 10,000 square feet, buzzing with over 120 employees.
**T**HE ROLE*
Produce Clerks are responsible for the proper filling and rotation of our displays to ensure all products meet our high standards for freshness and quality, as well as providing excellent customer service.
**WHAT YOU’LL DO**:

- Trim, water, and merchandise produce.
- Rotate and cull produce to ensure quality standards are upheld.
- Provide superior customer service.
- Work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Gain knowledge of store products and produce growing seasons.
- Adhere to all store policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

**OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE COMES EQUIPPED WITH**:

- The ability to work a variety of shifts including early mornings (5:00am), evenings (until 9:00pm), and weekends.
- The ability to perform repetitive tasks, stand for long periods of time, work in a cool environment, and lift up to 50lbs.
- The ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a busy environment.
- The ability to work well within a team.
- Previous retail/customer service experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right person with the right attitude

**THE DETAILS**:
This is full-time or part-time position commences promptly. This role is entitled to competitive wages, a culture of Teamwork, Collaboration & Continuous learning. As well as a 20% In-store discount on purchases.
