**Store Front Associate (Afternoon Shift)**

**Rabba Fine Foods/ Tim Horton's - Mississauga**

Rabba Fine Foods Inc., is a family owned business serving the GTA for over 25 years and is a local market and convenience store that’s found in more than 34 neighbourhoods in the central and western parts of the GTA. It’s open year-round, 24 hours a day. We pride ourselves on providing independent grocers with a one stop shop for all their grocery and dairy needs. With over 5,000 available products including dry grocery, cooler and freezer, and specialty items, we built our business with our customers in mind. Rabba Fine Foods has opened several Tim Hortons franchises across the GTA. We need a Store Front Associate - Night Shift at one of the locations.

**Career Opportunity: Store Front Associate - Evening Shift.**

An incredible opportunity to bring your expert knowledge and experience to a growing and dynamic company. Your key mandate is to assist with the operations and customers service during the night to morning period. Duties include serving customers, receiving payment for services, and answering customers enquiries about products and services.

Shift timing: Monday to Friday 3pm-10 pm

**Location**: 92 Lakeshore road East, Mississauga,

**Role Specific Accountabilities include, but are not limited to the following**:

- Adhering to all company policies and standards.
- Providing exceptional customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with their needs.
- Operating a cash register including; opening, closing and balancing your till.
- Processing payments made via cash, debit, credit and/or vouchers.
- Checking ID’s for lottery and cigarette sales in compliance with Ontario Regulations.
- Staying updated in the knowledge of products and promotions for the ability of up-selling.
- Resolving customer complaints. Escalating complex complaints to the store manager or customer care department.
- Maintaining store cleanliness via sweeping, moping and dusting as necessary.
- Ensuring shelves are fully stocked with merchandise at all times. Ensuring products are rotated and faced.
- Assisting in the Deli department during busy times whenever there is a need.
- Monitoring and ensuring the quality and freshness of all prepared foods products while at the deli.
- Receiving deliveries, stocking products, storing and organizing shipments.
- Other duties as assigned by Management.

**Education Experience**:

- High school Diploma or GRD required.
- Post secondary school training.
- Experience in customer service and/or retail.
- Ability ro establish good working relationship and maintain control in difficult situations.

**Personal Requirements**:

- Strong diplomatic, negotiation and conflict resolution skills in order to handle customers from all walks of life.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $15.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Mississauga, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- sales: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
