Yard Attendant

time basis at our location in **Thorhild, AB**. Reporting to the Lumber Manager.

**What you’ll do**:

- Engage and interact with member-owners and customers to provide outstanding Co-op experiences
- Delivering and unloading orders to customer locations in a timely manner
- Receiving of products in the yard and in the store - including completing required paperwork
- Operating a forklift
- Follow proper maintenance and housekeeping duties
- Able to work a variety of shifts - including days, evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays on a rotational basis
- Demonstrate day-to-day behaviours and actions that align with and strengthen the Co-operative's vision, mission, values, brand and focus on safety
- Perform other duties as assigned

**Who you are**:

- You have a grade 12 or combination of relevant experience; previous retail experience would be an asset
- You have a valid class 3 driver’s license; a clean drivers abstract is required
- You’re able to lift 50lb on a regular basis
- You’re action oriented, customer focused and work well with other Team Members
- You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do
- You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives
