**Job Opportunity**:
The VP of Operations plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing the strategic direction of operations at Innovative Automation. This entails formulating both short-term and long-term objectives in alignment with the company's mission, vision, and corporate responsibility statement. Leading a team of Managers, the VP of Operations ensures that the organization achieves its growth and SQPD (Safety, Quality, Production, Delivery) objectives while fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

What you’ll do:_**
- Oversee daily operations.
- Work with Managers and Group Leaders to develop and implement operational policies and procedures.
- Monitor engineering and production metrics and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Manage and provide insight to the Project Management department, ensuring projects align with business goals.
- Oversee all areas of project management, project planning, execution, and delivery.
- Ensure project timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Develop and execute the operations strategy in line with the company's overall objectives.
- Drive initiatives to improve productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Implement quality control processes to maintain product standards.
- Address and resolve any quality or compliance issues promptly.
- Develop and oversee the implementation of comprehensive strategic plans that drive the company towards sustainable growth and profitability.
- Continuously evaluate market conditions and industry trends to adapt strategies accordingly.
- Adapt seamlessly and demonstrate flexibility to dynamic industry and economic demands
- Drive growth initiatives, exploring new markets and identifying opportunities for expansion.
- Assume responsibility for the financial health of the organization by managing budgets, analyzing financial reports, and identifying opportunities for cost optimization and revenue generation.
- Cultivate relationships with community and industry leaders to create mutually beneficial partnerships and enhance the company’s reputation and influence.
- Serve as a spokesperson for the company, promoting its interests and values.
- Provide direction to the Management Team in setting short
- and long-term business objectives, ensuring alignment with overall strategic goals.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, fostering transparency, alignment and engagement.
- Identify and address potential risks and opportunities facing the company, implementing proactive measures to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
- Fulfill OHSA Supervisor responsibilities by ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting workplace inspections, and promoting awareness of safety protocols among team members.
- Collaborate with the Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC) to investigate incidents and identify areas of improvement.
- Foster a collaborative environment that promotes communication and cooperation among all department. Lead and inspire teams among all departments, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Develop the company’s culture and promote an environment of positive moral and sense of belonging.
