**Anti-Human Trafficking Case Manager**

The Anti-Human Trafficking (AHT) Team Case Manager serves as the primary point of contact for survivors of human trafficking not yet engaged in program services. The AHT Case Manager will work to provide critical support and services for Indigenous women with effective tools and resources. The AHT Team Case Manager will work with survivors to foster safety and empowerment assessing their needs and develop a service plan that addresses their choices and needs.

**Responsibilities**:

- Through case management and coordination of services assist survivors with lived experience
- Engage in the program implementation, monitoring and evaluation designed to assist survivors
- Participate in crisis intervention calls; maintain case notes, submit progress reports, data entry
- Conducts intakes; creates safety plans for basic needs, linkages, and resource support
- Maintains professional linkages to community service and legal providers, referral network
- Participate in local human trafficking coalitions, working groups and related committees
- Track data, project progress, prepare monthly reports for submission, quarterly statistics data
- Other duties as required to ensure services are provided and goals and objectives are met

**Qualifications**
- Knowledge of human trafficking laws, policies; current barriers, challenges, and issues
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Social Work and/or related other fields of study
- Experience working with survivors of human trafficking, other victims of crime or violence
- Training in crisis intervention, mental health, sexual violence, exploitation, and trauma
- Strong communication, conflict resolution and interpersonal skills; empathetic; good listening
- Ability to respond to shifting priorities; demonstrated commitment to creative problem-solving
- Understanding of Indigenous culture and issues affecting Indigenous women
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience on social justice, human rights, gender issues
- Must have valid Ontario driving license, clear driver’s abstract and pass a Background Check

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
