The opportunity
We are looking for someone who is very passionate about growing their career in the finance industry. The Portfolio Analyst will create, design, publish and analyze various reports for senior leadership and create productive and friendly internal relationships. The incumbent will have many chances to develop your skills so you may hit new personal and professional achievements, all while taking on new challenges and career development opportunities to reach your career dreams.
Areas of focus- Reporting: Building, designing, publishing and analyzing various reports for senior leadership. Some of these reports may include: contract exposure, portfolio runoff forecasts, arrears, watch lists, maturing contracts, reporting covenants by customer and many other metrics for CWB Maxium.- Analysis: Analyzing the reporting trends and results in order to make business recommendations.- Continuous Improvement: Continuous development including testing and recommendations for CWB Maxium’s portfolio reporting to increase efficiency and to meet internal/external customer requirements.- Relationships: Building and maintaining productive working relationships with all internal departments specially our Sales, Credit, Operations, Finance, IT and Portfolio Management groups.- Training: Provide staff training for consistent and accurate completion of existing and new reporting fields in Mable.- Confidentially: Ensure adherence to CWB Maxium’s policies and procedures as well as exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality of all customer information in accordance with internal policies and applicable laws and regulations.

You are experienced at reviewing data and have the ability to see the bigger picture and identify trends and results in order to make recommendations.- A great teammate. You can communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. You have a knack for time management and organization that keeps you on track and your analytical way of thinking is what sets you apart from your peers.- Technologically proficient. You are adept at learning new software that you will use on a day to day basis and have strong computer and business modelling skills.
