Design Draftsman/woman

**Total Design **is offering an immediate opportunity for a **Draftsman **to be a part of a team providing and analyzing constructability and the means and methods of construction.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conducts structural engineering sketches and final working drawings.
- Design of layouts of tower crane and derrick installations
- Design layouts of construction hoist installations
- Design of temporary structures (falsework, shoring, formwork, access)
- Other tasks as assigned

**Skills / Qualifications**:

- A diploma in architecture/Civil Engineering or equivalent
- 4+ years of design experience in structural engineering in Ontario.
- Experience in the design of formwork
- Proficient with AutoCAD, (Revit welcomed)
- Must be knowledgeable in basic construction practices for civil/structural fieldwork, the ability to generate drawings for engineers
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization
- Capable of working on several projects in different stages at the same time
- Adaptable and flexible to changing priorities
- Solid communication skills in English
- Effective team player

- Bolton, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- AutoCAD: 4 years (preferred)
- drafting: 4 years (preferred)
