A maintenance supervisor coordinates the installation, maintenance and repair work in buildings or large complexes. They manage a team of workers, regularly inspect sites, execute work as necessary, maintain equipment and assign workers to various projects.

They are also responsible for assigning work to maintenance staff and at the same time responsible for managing the building.

A maintenance supervisor’s first duty is usually to make sure that the physical environment of a building is in adequate condition.

This means he/she will patrol both the indoor and outdoor areas of the apartment for areas that need repairs, or that shows signs of problems.

They also conduct periodical checks on all systems of a building, which includes plumbing, elevators, heating, and air conditioning, as well as other related mechanical components of a building.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure effective and timely follow up with residents, vendors and property management team on all maintenance services provided;
- Act as technical expert for internal and external customers;
- Complete or delegate swimming pool opening procedures, daily maintenance, and end of season close down procedures;
- Other duties and projects as assigned;
- Function as first line technical support including troubleshooting to maintenance technicians;
- Ensures that work areas are clean and that equipment, tools, and supplies are properly stored;
- Requires availability for “On Call” process;
**Maintenance Supervisor qualifications and requirements**
- Previous experience as a Maintenance Supervisor for (x) year(s)
- Professional Certifications (e.g. CMRP or HVAC certified) will be considered an advantage
- In-depth knowledge of different building systems (heating, electrical, air conditioning, ventilation etc.)
- Familiarity with relevant health and safety standards and regulations
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal and leadership skills

**Job Type**: Seasonal
Contract length: 10 months

**Salary**: $36.42-$60.40 per hour

Schedule:

- On call
- Overtime
- Weekend availability
