**Skills and Attributes**
- LEVEL 1 Level 2 - Early Childhood Educator certification ( ELCC Graduate or Equivalent and a minimum of **2 years significant experience working with Toddlers in a childcare setting. Does NOT include practicum experience.**:

- Have a strong passion for the childcare field and working with Infants and Toddlers and Preschool ages
- Knowledge of child care licensing standards
- A warm, open manner, positive attitude, willingness to learn and a high energy level, likes to take the initiative, organized and creative
- Comfort communicating and collaborating with staff and families with diverse cultures and languages
- A Current Standard Child Care First Aid & clear Vulnerable Sector Police Check and a clear Child Intervention Check
- Fluency in a second language is an asset and/or sign language.
- Basic computer skills is required
- Fluency in reading and writing English is required

**Additional Details**:
**This position is for "on call as needed". Potential to work many hours while staff are on vacation or sick.**

**Wage**: Competitive salary which includes Accreditation hourly wage top-up

**Hours of Work**: 6:00am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday " as needed".

**Location**:Intercultural Child & Family Centre - 9538 - 107 Avenue NW Edmonton, AB T5H0T7

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $10,000.00-$30,000.00 per year
