The Screener will be responsible to screen all individuals entering the hospital for possible febrile respiratory illnesses by asking a series of predetermined questions as well as sign out Hospital issued scrubs.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Screen all patients, staff and visitors using Georgian Bay General Hospital’s standard screening questionnaire
- Insure all individual perform hand hygiene and don a mask when passing through the screening area
- Organize, distribute and collect hospital issue scrubs to and from staff
- Ensure the maintenance, organization and stock of supplies at the screening stations
- Assist visitors and patients navigate the hospital by providing them directions and other information
- Other duties as assigned: this may involve performing functions required to support Georgian Bay General Hospital during the pandemic
**Required**:
- Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent
- Wear Personal Protective Equipment for prolong periods of time
- Able to communicate effectively in English in all forms (speaking, reading and writing)
- Comfortable sitting for prolonged periods of time
- Model behaviour that aligns with Georgian Bay General Hospital’s core values
- Demonstrated satisfactory work performance and attendance history

**Salary**:$19.24 per hour, plus 4% in lieu of vacation
