**0.5 FTE - ELEMENTARY NATIVE LANGUAGE TEACHER**

**1 LTO POSITION AVALIABLE
**General Information:
**The Board is seeking applicants for 1 0.5 FTE Long Term Occasional Assignment Native Language
Teacher - Ojibwe at McKellar Park School.

Selected applicants will be invited to participate in the interview process and only those

process.

**Qualifications**:

- Fluent or conversational Ojibwe Language skills
- Current member in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) preferred
- Native as a Second Language (NSL) qualifications
- Qualifications in Junior and Intermediate Division

through the Ontario College of Teachers will be considered.
- For applicants who are OCT certified and emerging learners of the Ojibwe language, supports may be put

in place to assist with building conversational fluency
- Equivalencies may be considered.**Required Documents**:
resume of qualifications and experience arranged in chronological sequence

photocopy of Certificate of Qualification (2024) if applicable.

For OCT certified teachers: one recent teaching performance review, or, practice

teaching reports if no teaching experience.

names and telephone numbers of two references that may be contacted prior

to the interview process and signed Reference Check Consent Form for F.O.I. purposes,
