Production Worker Food Plant

We are currently seeking an employee to work on our DAY shift, with the flexibility to work AFTERNOON shift when required. The position is currently part-time with variable hours depending on company need. Working towards a full-time position (35+ hours/week) in the future.

**Position Summary**:
Daily duties may include the following, depending on the production requirements of the day:

- Washing and traying product
- Loading and unloading trays of product from ovens
- Taking temperatures and moisture levels of the cooked product to ensure it meets CCP criteria
- Grinding and packaging of cooked product
- Sanitation and clean-up of tools and work area during and after processing is finished
- Packing product for customers
- Any additional tasks as required by Production Supervisor including general building sanitation, indoor and outdoor maintenance, etc.

**Position Responsibilities**:

- Adhere to HAACP guidelines, BRC and GMP, following all standard operating procedures precisely to ensure the production of safe product
- Ability to respond to occasional non-standard situations
- Correctly complete paperwork
- Work in an efficient manner to complete the daily work in a timely manner
- Strong attention to detail, ability to follow stringent cleaning and sanitation SOP's

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $16.55 per hour

Expected hours: 1 - 40 per week
