We're looking for a **Claims Manager - Property Appraisal & Subrogation**, to join our growing team

As a **Claims Manager,** your claims experience and strive for excellence will help you successfully manage the day to day operations of our Property Appraisal & Subrogation team. Your passion for coaching, development and engagement will help strengthen team connections, keep everyone motivated to deliver second-to-none experiences for our customers and inspire people to go above and beyond in everything they do.

**What You'll Do Here**:

- Manage the day to day operation of the Property Appraisal & Subrogation teams to ensure results produced meet team, department, corporate, Provincial and regulatory standards and goals; provide regular feedback to leadership on results
- Achieve essential business goals and meet customer service expectations
- Provide technical oversight and guidance with a focus on indemnity and expense control, as well as, optimal customer experience
- Work closely with the Director to develop strategies and long term/short term plans to facilitate ongoing work, process improvement, customer relations and other functions.
- Monitor financial performance and productivity and report observations, progress and recommendations to key stakeholders.
- Lead and actively contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and ensure utilization of tools and behaviors to foster critical thinking and innovation around problem solving
- Provide effective leadership, responsible for hiring and terminations, coaching and mentoring, performance management, continuous learning and career development for direct reports
- Completion of monthly file reviews and audits, identify opportunities and develop action plans.

**What You Bring To The Table**:

- Bachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent combination of education and experience
- A minimum of 5 years of management, coaching and mentoring experience - preference is within a claims environment.
- Technical expertise and practical knowledge of the restoration of damaged buildings.
- Technical expertise with Xactimate is an asset
- Exceptional organization and time management skills.
- Strong negotiation, project management and problem solving skills
- Ability to foster a culture of continuous improvement and drive positive change
- Demonstrated ability to lead by example
- Excellent customer, communication and interpersonal skills

$103,200.00 - $154,800.00
