**AV INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN**

We’re seeking an AV Installation Technician to join our top-notch and thriving team across the Sales and Integration department.

**Integration/installation of communication and entertainment systems responsibilities**:

- Install, configure, and troubleshoot a wide array of audio-visual systems and inventory including projectors, displays, speakers, microphones, control systems, lighting & much more
- Conduct site surveys to assess the AV requirements and plan the installation process.
- Collaborate with clients, project managers, and other team members to ensure successful installation and integration of AV systems.
- Test and calibrate installed systems to meet client specifications and quality standards.
- Provide training and support to end-users on the operation of AV equipment and systems.
- Responsible for equipment delivery using supplied vehicle.
- Maintain daily communication with project coordinator.
- Proficient in using tools and collaborating with other technicians when required.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to AV installation.

**Requirements**:

- Valid Canadian Drivers License (G)
- Experience: 2 + years of experience of installation in audiovisual equipment, construction, technology or related field.
- Demonstrate proactive behavior and initiative during technical installations
- Highly Proficient in English - oral and written
- Demonstrate flexibility regarding the work schedule and be available to travel outside the home office’s city.
- Strong knowledge of audio visual equipment, wiring, and installation techniques.
- Familiarity with various AV system components, such as projectors screens, speakers, amplifiers, control systems, lighting equipment and video conferencing equipment.
- Ability to adapt to different working environments including (but not limited to): Commercial, Theatre & Performance Venues, Sporting & Amusement Parks, Restaurants & Nightclubs, House of Worship & Educational venues.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting AV system diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CTS, CTS-I) are a plus.

**Job Type**:Full-time 40 hours per week

**Salary**:Starting at 25.00 per hour, 8 hours per day.

**Schedule**: Day shift typically Monday to Friday 9 - 5PM with flexibility | Low level of Evening shift and Weekend availability

**Ability to commute/relocate**:

- Pickering, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Work Location**:In person, at client site locations across the GTA.
