**Job description**

Medical Saints Ltd. is a privately owned, Ontario based Licensed Producer of Cannabis with multiple cultivation sites and processing facilities.

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager at our Beamsville headquarters, the Purchaser will be responsible for the day-to-day purchasing of approved materials and services across multiple sites and departments. Key tasks are obtaining and comparing quotes, generating POs, facilitating payments and tracking delivery ETAs. The Purchaser works in collaboration with other members of Supply Chain, Operations, Quality Assurance and Finance.

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Source, obtain quotes, cross-compare and execute the purchase of materials and services for multiple departments across multiple facilities.
- Process Purchase Requisitions and create Purchase Orders.
- Select the most reliable and cost-effective vendors that fit the needs of the company.
- Adhere to corporate SOPs, policies and procedures to approve new vendors.
- Assist in the building and development of positive relationships with vendors.
- Track and trace purchases, back-orders and maintain accurate, up-to-date reporting of ETAs.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to review data on current orders, production levels and sales forecasts to estimate future demand for materials.
- Work with Finance department to reconcile items received and facilitate payments.
- Maintain an up-to-date supplier price database.
- Support relevant departments with quotations for the purpose of cost calculation and projects.
- Actively participate in process improvements and quality improvement programs.
- Other duties as assigned by the organization.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Minimum 3 year’s experience in a purchasing role.
- In-depth knowledge of procurement procedures and strategies.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Knowledge of the standard methods, practices and procedures utilized in the acquisition of inventory.
- Strong Verbal and written communication skills.
- Working experience in ERP Systems.
- Proven ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment under deadlines.
- Post-Secondary Education in Procurement or Supply Management is an asset.
