Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Valve Technician to join our team. As a Valve Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of valves used in various industrial settings. This is a hands-on role that requires technical expertise and attention to detail.

**Duties**:

- Inspect valves to detect any issues or malfunctions
- Perform repairs and maintenance on valves, including disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly
- Use tools and equipment to repair / recertification
- Install valves in accordance with specifications and safety guidelines
- Test valves for proper functioning and make adjustments as necessary
- Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot complex valve problems
- Follow schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to ensure accurate valve installation, repair and recertification
- Maintain accurate records of valve inspections, repairs, maintenance and inspection activities

**Experience**:

- NDT experience considered an Asset.
- Previous experience in industrial maintenance or a related field is preferred
- Proficiency in using tools and equipment commonly used in valve repair and maintenance
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to fabricate replacement parts using various materials and techniques
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with clients and address their valve-related concerns

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 50 per week
