**Here are some ofth e daily/weekly/monthly tasks our controller will be responsible for**:

- Forecast cash flow based on all variables encountered by a GC operation;
- Create forward looking pro-forma financial statements;
- Create department based budgets;
- Manage the AR and AP departments in the challenging construction industry environment
- Prepare all government related reporting requirements

Prior industry experience managing relationships with subs and suppliers as it relates to the payment cycle; and the management and collection of monies owing will be given high consideration.

High level experience with **QuickBooks** accounting software is a must, knowledge of Builder Trend software would be considered an asset, but not required. Good working knowledge of MS excel

Reporting directly to the **Chief Financial Officer** and the Owners, the **Controller **will be responsible for:

- Overseeing the direction, supervision and development of the Accounting team
- Coordinating and preparing internal and external financial statements
- Coordinating activities of external auditors
- Preparation of year end working paper files - Bank management
- Hiring, training and retaining skilled accounting staff
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives of the Accounting team, as well as supporting financial analyses and other ad-hoc projects as needed.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $70,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
