Your Role and Responsibilities

The Security & Compliance Specialist is responsible for creating and leading SOC programs which enable the IBM Security business to manage compliance and risk more effectively.
Responsibilities:

- Define and lead transition and transformation projects that span multiple environments
- Develop and implement programs to measure and assess compliance with policy requirements and industry standards
- Review and approve/manage security, exceptions, RCA’s, compensating controls and remediation plans

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- At least 5 years as a Security Specialist with proficiency in Monitoring, QRadar, Automation, ServiceNow, SQL
- Ability to learn and translate technical issues in a business risk context
- Demonstrated proficiency with presentations and status reporting
- Tenacity at uncovering and addressing problems in a global matrixed organization
- Talent to promote collaboration between stake-holders, solve problems, achieve objectives, meet schedules, improve efficiencies, exercise good judgement, and communicate clearly
- Strong administrative and organizational talent
- ELIGIBILITY FOR SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Experience with DevOps concepts and tooling
- Experience with automation technologies and their implementation
- Experience with diverse system integrations to provide detail views of current issues
- Experience in all aspects of ITSM implementation and support
- Knowledge of ITSS or ISEC security policies
- Holds Secret Security Clearance
