GFL is looking for a full time Depot Technician to help support our operations in Markham, ON. As a Depot Technician, the primary responsibility will be to receive, sort and pack household hazardous waste from area residents. The role reports directly to the Supervisor. Also provide exceptional customer service to the City of Markham by receiving, identifying, sorting, and packing household hazardous waste into the appropriate containers

**Key Responsibilities**:
Provide exceptional customer service to the City of Markham by receiving, identifying, sorting, and packing household hazardous waste into the appropriate containers
Communicate with City of Markham employees and the general public
Maintain a clean work area, including the depot grounds and the facility
Work in a safe manner at all times and comply with deport rules and regulations
Follow Supervisor instructions on a daily basis and perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, Competencies
Post-secondary degree, diploma in the field of chemistry or environmental would be an asset
High School Diploma is required
