**Milestone Equipment Contracting Inc** is excited to offer an opportunity for a **Civil Construction Foreperson** to join our experienced & professional team

The Foreperson plays a critical role in the successful completion of Milestones projects. Milestone is a civil excavation company and Foreperson facilitate onsite production through efficient pipe installation, diligent and detailed work. Milestone's civil division works on a variety of different projects. The work includes civil & infrastructure, environmental construction, industrial & commercial, residential development, landscaping, and much more

Milestone’s team is comprised of professional, experienced and educated individuals that form project teams to ensure our clients’ projects are treated with the same level of respect, attention, professionalism, and care that our organization is founded upon.

**Duties & Responsibilities - What is my role?**
- Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans
- Allocate general and daily responsibilities
- Supervise and train workers and trades
- Ensure manpower and resources are adequate
- Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met
- Supervise the use and location of machinery and equipment
- Help resolve problems when they arise
- Report on progress to Superintendents and other stakeholders.
- Ability to understand daily production, reporting and four pillars (Schedule, Quality, Cost, Safety)
- Help promote and work within a culture of jobsite safety, where safety is everyone’s 1st priority
- Minimum of 5 individuals reporting to you
- Help implement and promote new technology into everyday work procedures

**Qualifications & Requirements - What skills & qualifications do I need?**
- Must be competent with operating heavy equipment
- 5 - 10 year’s Experience with Civil Construction
- Safety Certification / Education is an asset
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to read drawings, plans, and blueprints

This is a physically demanding position; the Foreperson must be able and willing to complete assigned tasks in a timely manner.
