The **Medical Writer **will be responsible for developing content for medical and pharmaceutical educational trainings and marketing materials. Creating informative materials, both online and printed, while helping to ensure quality and message consistency across multiple platforms. They will also be presenting selected content to internal and external audiences. In addition to writing the content, they will also develop eLearning solutions through various authoring tools.

**The opportunity**:
Research, create, and develop medical/scientific content for educational trainings
- Conduct comprehensive scientific literature reviews to critically evaluate and analyze scientific data to ensure the credibility and accuracy of the content produced.
- Produce high-quality content quickly and efficiently to meet deadlines
- Maintain familiarity with current healthcare and pharmacy compounding industry practices, regulatory requirements, and scientific advancements.
- Ensure document content and style adheres to and complies with departmental SOPs and style guidelines
- Write, plan, and deliver promotional content geared towards the target audience

Create and develop content in support of product and business offerings
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and marketing to develop content for various business objectives.
- Research and recommend creative ways to market our corporate message
- Ensure corporate brand message is consistent across all channels for all global markets.
- Write, plan, and deliver promotional content geared towards the target audience

Design & Develop Learning Solutions
- Develop in-person and virtual instructor-led materials including developing objectives and pre/post session materials by using instructional design methodologies.
- Develop eLearning solutions (using rapid authoring tools such as iSpring)
- Work cross functionally with a team to ensure materials are aligned to best practices in instructional and visual design
- Present selected content to internal audiences

**Skills, knowledge and abilities**:

- Bachelor’s of Science in Life Sciences or health-related discipline
- Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in medical/scientific/technical writing for the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or life sciences industries
- Strong creative and professional writing skills
- Ability to understand, interpret, and synthesize scientific information; to convey complex information clearly, effectively, and creatively to a wide range of audiences
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel) required.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, adaptable, with strong time management skills
- Thorough and meticulous work ethic to ensure accuracy of information
- Knowledge of instructional design for eLearning design and development
- Excellent communication skills; fluent French and English (oral & written). This position will create content for our global clients.
