GRF Structural Engineering Limited is a Nova Scotia-based company specializing in steel fabrication. We provide structural steel fabrication equipment repair, manufacturing, welding, machining, grinding and more.

GRF is currently accepting positions for a CNC Plasma table operator.

**As a CNC plasma table operator, you will be responsible for the following**:

- Operate the CNC Plasma table using advanced touch screen interface.
- Loading files into the CNC using user interface.
- Machine maintenance and changing plasma consumables.
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and correct operation.
- Loading plate into machine with overhead crane.

**The follow criteria is expected**:

- Experience is preferred but training will be provided if there is no previous experience.
- Determined
- Reliable
- Strong work ethic.
- Experience with heavy labor, as there is lifting involved (50 lbs).

**Potential applicants should have the following skills and experience**:

- Experience in loading cut files into a user interface is considered an asset.
- Experience and certifications with overhead crane and rigging is considered an asset.
- Experience in welding and/or steel fabrication is considered an asset.
- Highly organized and experience working within deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills, including written and verbal.
- Ability to remain calm and collected in high pressure situations.
- Strong data analysis skills.
- Attention to detail and results oriented.
- Good decision-making & problem-solving capabilities.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
