**Responsibilities**:

- Perform pre-trip inspections and complete documentation
- Maneuver truck into loading and unloading positions
- Perform general maintenance on equipment to ensure vehicle is in good working order
- Report any vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to vehicle(s)
- Ensure proper paperwork is completed in a timely manner
- Assist in the loading and unloading of truck
- Ensure cargo reaches its destination in a timely manner

Required Qualifications:

- Valid class 1A licence (Manual & Automatic endorsement) or 3A for Tandem Drivers
- 1-2 years experience
- Punctual and Reliable
- ability to work in an outdoor environment
- work overtime & weekends as required
- Ability to perform physical tasks on a daily basis (opening closing tarp, cleaning box)
- High attention to detail with strong values rooted in health and safety
- Ability to work in a high paced environment with high physical demand
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
