Description: The Dietitian I is responsible for assessing, developing, implementing and evaluating the nutrition care for all patients/residents in the facility; on admission, quarterly and whenever there is a significant change in status to support optimum nutrition care. The dietitian acts as a liaison to the Nutrition and Food Services for program specific initiatives and supports. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the HSAA Paramedical Professional/Technical Collective Agreement.

**Required Qualifications**:
Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science with a major in Foods and Nutrition accredited by the College of Dietitian's of Alberta (CDA) is required. Active registration with the College of Dietitians of Alberta required. Successful completion of an internship program or practicum training program that is accredited by the Dietitians of Canada is required

**Additional Required Qualifications**:
Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize workload.

**Preferred Qualifications**:
Restricted Activity to Prescribed Parenteral Nutrition or strong willingness to achieve. Demonstrated knowledge of and clinical experience in acute care clinical nutrition.
