We’re looking for a BIM Manager to join our team and lead the modelling and production drawing development for our Promise Robotics factories.

**What you will do**:

- Lead and supervise an offshore modeling team, providing guidance, training, and mentoring to ensure high-quality BIM production.
- Peer review of models and drawings with regards to manufacturing restrictions, specification, design optimization and errors or omissions.
- Coordinate with architectural drafters, floor and roof truss designers, production department, estimating, plumbing, HVAC and electrical trades as well as affected departments for feedback on design, manufacturing and construction issues.
- Provide training and guidance to team members on best practices and industry standards in BIM modeling.
- Stay updated on the latest BIM technologies, tools, and trends.
- Create Revit models from AutoCAD/PDF drawings.
- Model wood framing elements in Revit using MWF or other solutions to produce detailed production drawings, specification sheets, and material lists for production lines.
- Design and prepare production drawings for all structures with an emphasis on value engineering in preparation for the manufacturing process.
- Ensure design meets or exceeds the building code requirements.
- Create framing layouts based on manufacturing requirements and construction standards for panelizing and prefabrication of product.
- Participate in and execute our BIM modeling initiatives and guidelines.
- Assist in developing wood framing guideline in Revit and prepare required families, templates and libraries.
- Support product development initiatives with regard to modelling implications.
- Interpret information on plot plans with regards to construction requirements.
- Identify additional construction requirements if applicable.

**What you'll need to succeed**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in a related domain.
- 4+ years' experience as a BIM Manager.
- 5+ years of professional Autodesk product use and support (Revit and Autodesk Construction Cloud)
- Experience and knowledge of new home construction and the fundamentals of residential wood frame construction practices, techniques, and building codes.
- Experience with Wood Framing programs such as MWF and AGACAD.
- Knowledge of Computer structural design programs such as Mitek and Alpine is an asset.
- Knowledge and experience of BIM implementation in the AEC industry is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail.
- A willingness to participate in all technical areas of the business as needed to solve complex problems and achieve business impact.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain timing deadlines.
