Prairie Fence is looking for a hard-working, motivated individuals who wants to be a part of our fencing team, with opportunity to train learning to drive farm tractor; if you have tractor experience it is an asset and you will start at higher hourly rate.

**RESPONSIBLE INDIVIDUAL ASSET IF EXPERIENCED TO DRIVE TRUCK/GOOSE-NECK TRAILER to job sites and means higher pay based on experience,** various locations - Stony Plain/Spruce Grove/surrounding Edmonton/St. Albert and further. Clean drivers abstract and insurable is a must; general laborer position open also without driving truck/trailer. Please note this is not just a trucking position.

Starting wage based on qualifications, responsibility undertaken & work experience; $22-$26 /hr OT is time & half, paid from 7 am start time when you clock in, straight time paid straight thru even when travelling in company vehicle to job sites, return travel until you clock out back at company yard (no break deductions); wage increase performance-based

Position Full time Monday to Friday, we take all long weekends off. Typical day is 7 am start to 6 pm finish or earlier.

**MUST HAVE**:

- OWN PERSONAL VEHICLE TRANSPORTATION TO PRAIRIE FENCE YARD/VALID DRIVERS LICENCE, good clean drivers abstract please provide a copy

- NOTE: there is no public transportation to rural yard site west of Stony Plain**_
- Rare occasion to work out of town (hotels paid & LOA provided)
- STEEL TOE WORK BOOTS
- Fluent in English
- Pre-employment D & A Testing NO EXCEPTIONS

**Asset if you have**:

- Safety training current valid tickets: CSTS-20, Std First Aid & AED, CPR,
- H2S Alive, Global Ground Disturbance level 2, TDG, Chainsaw Safety Awareness, CSO
- Background in construction, and fencing experience, fencing training is provided

TRUCKING/ Driving/ Equipment Operations NOTE: Position entails more than trucking, successful applicant will be required to do both drive truck/trailer & physical labor on fencing crew: load up for the day with equipment & materials, drive truck/trailer to job site, then work general labor with fence construction.
